Elva Stefanie began her career tattooing in a small apartment and is now the owner of an award-winning studio, The Blank Slate, in Poughkeepsie, NY - now expanded into The Blank Slate Shop, a creative retail extension celebrating art, magic, and alternative culture.

Her unique style and dedicated work ethic have allowed her natural talent to flourish, earning recognition through numerous awards. Always evolving, Elva continues to grow and learn from highly respected members of the tattoo community, gaining admiration from peers through her discipline and passion.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Art History and Ancient World Civilizations, along with additional studies across artistic disciplines, Elva blends past, present, and future for a global clientele drawn to her distinct vision.

Expanding beyond tattooing, she is also the founder and creative force behind Spellbound in the Valley and Spellbound in the District—immersive literary and creative festivals celebrating literature, small businesses and alternative art. These events reflect Elva’s passion for building community and creating transformative spaces for artists, authors, and fans alike.

Her aim is to be world-renowned and influential, giving back to her community while leaving a positive blueprint for others to follow.
